James F. Munro, CTO of Munro Design & Technologies, LLC, brings a wealth of experience in product development, business development, and technology in optics and electrical engineering fields. He has spent most of his career in product development and once held the title of VP of Engineering. In addition, Mr. Munro is the cofounder of Digital Lobe, LLC (www.digitallobe.com) a start-up company with technology he founded and developed to encrypt data.

Mr. Munro holds degrees from Michigan Technological University in EE, an MS in Optical Engineering from the University of Rochester, and an MBA from the University of Rochester's Simon School.

Penny J. Munro, owner of Munro Design & Technologies, LLC has spent the past 20 years working in the areas of Operational Management and General Management as well as Instructional and Materials Design, HR, Communications, Research, and Project Management. She considers herself to be a life long learner, creative and innovative including doing some recent work on generation of IP in the optics field.

Mrs. Munro received a BM in Education from SUNY Potsdam and has taken graduate courses in Technical Writing, Web Site Design, HTML, Effective Communication, and Leadership. Mrs. Munro is currently pursuing a degree in Instructional Technology Design from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
